Helen Marie Yecny
Feb. 1918 ~ Mar. 2017
We lost our beloved Helen on March 2, 2017.  She passed peacefully in her home where she had lived her entire life, from birth to death.
Helen was most content on the ranch and if you were lucky enough to know her I'm sure one of your favorite memories would be of her working her yard or walnut orchard wearing her old hat and tattered shoes while holding her worn out hoe or shovel.
Helen was one of a kind!  She loved gardening and could make anything grow, she believed in a strong work ethic and always saving for a rainy day.  Lou and Helen were never blessed with children, and only after her passing will her generosity to children be fulfilled.  Helens afterglow will be felt for generations to come.  Helen loved to read and in her later years traveled to Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii and Europe with her friends.  We will truly miss her witty personality; even when she didn't feel well she always had a comeback in the conversation that would make you smile.
Helen was one of the strongest ladies we have ever known, she did it her way! May she rest in peace.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Lou Yecny and her two brothers Leroy and Leonard Larson.
Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Tuesday, March 7th and Wednesday, March 8th from 2:00-7:00p.m. both days.  Graveside service will be at Hilmar Cemetery on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00a.m.
