The Reverend Dr. Frank K. Jago passed away peacefully on January 8, 2014. Born in Camden, New Jersey on December 10, 1937 he was the son of Frederick West and Margaret (Kincaid) Jago.

Father Jago attended public school in Pennsauken, New Jersey and graduated from Merchantville High School (1956); Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut (B.A. cum laude, 1960); Philadelphia Divinity School (M.Div. cum honoribus, 1963); and Drew University (D. Min, 1989). Ordained Deacon in April 1963 in the Episcopal Diocese of NJ by the Rt. Rev. Alfred L. Banyard, Bishop of New Jersey, Father Jago was ordained Priest in November 1963 also by Bishop Banyard.

Father Jago was Vicar and later Rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey (1963-76) and Rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Mount Holly, New Jersey (1976-1997). Retiring in 1997, Father Jago was Priest-in-charge at Trinity Episcopal Church in Delran beginning in 1999 until his death.

Father Jago was a member of the Hightstown Apollo #41, F. & A.M.; Mount Holly Lodge #14, F. & A.M.; and Excelsior Consistory, A.A.S.R. in West Collingswood, New Jersey. He was also Past-President of the Mount Holly Rotary Club and Past-President of the Mount Holly Historical Society. Father Jago was Chaplain of the New Jersey State Fireman's Association, Mount Holly and Lumberton Fire Departments, Burlington County Emergency Services, and Burlington County Municipal Employees Association; Charter member and former chaplain of the Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company; former member and Chaplain of the Kendall Park First Aid Squad; and former Chaplain of the South Brunswick and Mount Holly Police Departments; former member of the South Brunswick Jaycees and past State Chaplain of the New Jersey Jaycees, Jaycee Senator.

Preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie M. McCoy (1981), Father Jago is survived by four children: Frank, Jr. (Ruth Ann) of Runnemede, NJ.; David (Kimberly) of Pennsburg, PA.; Vanessa Meredith (Joseph) of Lumberton, NJ; Jennifer Kelly (Thomas) of Susquehanna, PA. He is also survived by two grandsons, Ryan Engle of Lumberton, NJ, Andrew Jago of Runnemede, NJ and four granddaughters, Lauren and Amanda Jago of Runnemede, NJ and Sophie and Emma Jago of Pennsburg, Pa.

Friends may call on Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 121 High St., Mount Holly. Burial will follow in St. Andrew's Graveyard.
