Ronald E. Phillips, Sr., 76, of Hebron died Saturday morning at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. He was a Fine Arts Dealer specializing in 17th and 18th Century French Decorative Art. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he attended the Sarasota School of Art, a graduate of the University of Kentucky and he received his MFA from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. A professor of Art at the Northern Kentucky Vocational School and Northern Kentucky University, member of the Cincinnati Bonsai Society, Ralph Fulton Post # 6423 VFW, National Rifle Association, Boone-Union F & AM # 304 Masonic Lodge, Covington Scottish Rites, Northern Kentucky Shriners, Cincinnati Shriners and he enjoyed Horse Racing and Harness Racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lorna Eder Phillips. Survivors include his wife, Karen Free Phillips of Hebron; daughter, Therese Piloto of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons, Adrian Meadows of Miami, FL and Ronald Phillips, Jr. of Charleston, WV; four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation 12:00 Noon to 1:40 pm Friday at MIDDENDORF-BULLOCK FUNERAL HOME, HEBRON. Masonic services begin at 1:40 pm Friday and the funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.
