Jennifer Nicole Reeder Obituary
Jennifer Nicole Reeder

Jennifer Nicole Reeder was born on June 11,1994, and left this world to join the Lord on March 1, 2014.

Jenny was enrolled as a nursing student at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, and a proud member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority there.

She attended Wilder Elementary and later, Sequiota and Pershing Middle School, and graduated from Glendale High School. She played in the band at Glendale, and was a part of the famous "Butterfly Four", which achieved the highest rating at district competitions.

Jenny's gifts were many. She was lovely on the outside, but even more beautiful on the inside. Because she radiated such positive energy, she would light up any room she entered.

She made friends wherever she went, and it did not matter to her how they looked, where they lived, or how they dressed. She only saw their hearts.

Jenny had a gift for working with children. She volunteered at Kingsway Pre-school, as well as working as a nanny in the summer. Perhaps the greatest tribute to her was that, without exception, children absolutely adored and respected her.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Stephen and Debra Reeder, sister Christina, and brother, Michael, Springfield, MO, Grandparents, Bob Reeder and Lettie Blackburn Fremont Hills, MO, Judith Reeder and Rob Riseman, Lee's Summit, MO, and Monica Casini, Napa, CA.

She was preceded in Death by her maternal Grandfather, Donald Adams.

Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 East Seminole Springfield, Mo. with the youth pastors from North Point Church officiating, where Jenny attended church. Visitation will from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2014 in the funeral home.

Jenny was her sorority chapters chair of the Alpha Sigma Alpha National Philanthropy; The Special Olympics, and was very passionate about helping people with developmental disabilities. The family wishes that memorials be made in her name to
