Patrick "Pat" Crawford was born in Birmingham, Ala., and attended school there. During the Korean War, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years before being honorably discharged in 1954. Pat entered into a career of commercial aviation, including 25 years of service with Southern Airways/Republic Airlines. After retiring from the airline business he continued flying as a pilot for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Joseph and Loretta Slade Crawford Sr.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley Hilley Crawford; his son, Patrick J. Crawford III; daughter, Julia Barrosso and husband, Armindo; and his grandson, Patrick J. Crawford IV.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 1600 Bay Ave., Panama City, FL 32405

Pat was very near and dear to my heart, as all of the Crawford family is and will forever be. I am so sorry for your loss and I love you all very much. I wish I could have been there. If you ever need anything, please call.
