Obituary

ELYSBURG - Charles W. "Wink" Miller, 69, a loving father, grandfather and husband of 50 years, passed away at his home on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, following a long battle with cancer.

He was born Jan. 3, 1949, in Danville, a son of the late Charles and Janet Miller.

Charles attended Danville High School.

He worked for 25 years at Catawissa Lumber and seven years at Don Ray Ship Motor-homes.

He enjoyed roller skating, golf, baseball and bingo.

He was the president of the Elysburg Fire Company, ran bingo for 15 years and was the manager of Cleo's baseball team.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (Willis) Miller, of Elysburg; two sons, Thomas Miller and his wife, Lisa, and Todd Miller and his wife, Jamie, both of Elysburg; grandchildren, Ashley, Haley, Jared and Logan; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Cameron; two brothers, Kenny Miller, of Bloomsburg, and Bobby Miller, of Milton; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle, in 1970; two sisters and a brother, Carol, Debbie and Joe.
