BUTLER — Services were held for William Clifford Griffin Jr., 69, of Rochelle Park, who died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. He was the father of William of this borough.
Mr. Griffin lived in Closter before moving to Rochelle Park. He was a driver for the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus. Also, he was a member of the Rochelle Park Seniors and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. He was a U.S. Army veteran as well.
Services were Monday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Helping Hands Ministry at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 12 Terrace Ave., Rochelle Park, NJ 07762.
Mr. Griffin also is survived by his daughter, Michelle McEwan, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; his sister, Marie Shust, of Rochelle Park; and a granddaughter.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Ann Cole.
