Daniel A. Mallardi, 77, passed away on November 14, 2006 in Tampa.
He was born on December 2, 1928 in Akron, Ohio, the youngest of 10 children born to the late Dominic and Rose Mallardi.
He and his wife moved to Tampa, Fla. from Akron, Ohio in 1966. He retired from Edmont, Division of Beckton Dickinson in 1987 after 22 years of service as a regional sales manager. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Daniel was a member of St. Lawrence Parish. He was an avid outdoorsman as well as a former bee keeper.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Victor, Louis, William, Emil, Ernest and Arthur.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Rosemary; son, Christopher and wife, Jessika; daughter, Elizabeth Mason and husband, John; and grandchildren, John Daniel, Alicia, and Michael; siblings, Richard Mallardi, Lucy Yareff and Teresa Mastin all of Akron, Ohio, as well as 16 nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
