Helen Frazee Obituary

Published by The Press-Enterprise from Sep. 27 to Sep. 29, 2009.
HELEN ZOMAR FRAZEEAge 95 Helen had been a resident of Murrieta/Temecula since 1979 and passed away peacefully on 9/16/2009. She was born in Lestock, Saskachewan on 7-12-1914. Her family moved to Southern California, during her early childhood, where they were very instrumental in the development of Culver City. In 1934 she married her one true love, Logan, and they spent the first half of their lives raising their family in West Los Angeles. She loved her family and took such pride in her role as homemaker, mother, and wife. She and Logan traveled to many wonderful places and met wonderful friends through the movie business in which Logan was involved for over 35 years. In the 1950's, her participation in the Culver City Moose Lodge, led to one of her most defining moments as top post of Sr. Regent. Helen always enjoyed Thoroughbred Horse Racing. In 1979, after Logan's retirement, they moved to a small horse ranch on "B" St. in Murrieta. Along with her sons, they enjoyed many good years in the racing and breeding business. A few years after Logan's death, in 1996, she moved in with her son, Terry & his wife in Temecula. She enjoyed living in the hills, being surrounded by her pets, her family, and countless visiting friends. Helen is survived by her sister, Mary Stangler of Culver City and many loving nieces and nephews all over the country. Our G.G. will be greatly missed by her sons, Logan and his wife Linda of Murrieta and their family, Terry & Angie Frazee of Temecula; her grandchildren Donald & Robin Frazee of Woodland Hills, and April & Michael Jacoby of Temecula, 6 great-grandchildren.Services Entrusted To: MURRIETA VALLEY FUNERAL HOME (951) 696-0626
