PRINCEVILLE - Dennis E. Lochbaum, 69, of Prince-ville passed away at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Peoria, Ill., to Edward and Bertha (Holmes) Lochbaum. He married Linda L. Miller on April 30, 1976. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Matthew (Dawn) of Germantown Hills, Andrew (Jill) of Peoria and Douglas (Amanda) of Alpharetta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Sydney and Jacob, Owen and Hayden, Dane, Caden, Declan and Carter; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Karen Ashburn and Marcia DeHart.
Dennis was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving from 1961 to 1966. He was an electrician, working out of IBEW Local 34 and in 1984 became the owner/operator of Lochbaum Trucking until retiring.
Denny was proud of his sons and grandchildren, and loved his family. He was loved in return and will be dearly missed. Cremation has been accorded. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
