Jules A. Moity
Chesapeake - Jules Anthony "Tony" Moity, 65, passed March 7, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Moity was born in Germany to the late Joseph and Helen Pellerin Moity. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy for 26 years. Mr. Moity was an active member of Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Treasurer and an Usher. He was an avid gardener, having enjoyed caring for both his own yard and the church's yard.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Eulalia P."Lollie" Moity; daughter, Jessica A. Macey and husband, Andrew of Hampton; son, Paul S. Moity and wife, Kim of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Kyle, Courtney, Zachary, Kelsey, Chandler, and Paige; and a host of other family, church family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 929 Battlefield Blvd, S., Chesapeake on Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Great Bridge FWB Church, 700 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Chesapeake with Pastor Hal Jones officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at A.G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Great Bridge FWB Church Building fund. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
