Mary Frances (Snyder) Wilson age 59, passed away December 1, 2012, in her home in Virginia Beach, VA following a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on August 9, 1953, in Mount Prospect, Illinois to the late William and Marion (Borenz) Snyder. She graduated from New London High School where she was active in band and the co-editor of the yearbook. In her early years, Mary was active in Girl Scouts as a leader, serving as assistant director at Camp Vic-to-Rae. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.

Throughout her life, Mary was willing to undertake anything necessary, whether helping Marty to build their house, working on her in-laws farm, or relocating to Virginia Beach. She was always in good spirits and maintained a positive attitude despite the challenges of her illness.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Martin Wilson of Virginia Beach, daughter Allison (Donnie) Miller of Virginia Beach and son Ryan Wilson of New London.

She is also survived by her siblings: Barbara (Tom) Lemmer of Orinda, CA; Jean (Skip) Beisenstein of Menasha; Nancy (Geary) Wilson of Appleton; Jim (Ellen) Snyder of Appleton; Joan (David) Pearson of St Paul, MN; Amie (Dave) Littmann of Laurel, MD; Jamie (Howard) Fuerst of Neenah; and her sisters and brother in law, Suzi Snyder of New London; Mary Miller of Scandinavia; and Lamar (Jane) Wilson of Waupaca. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Peter Snyder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lebanon with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Parish Cemetery, Lebanon. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Online condolences can be sent at
