PEARSON CHARLES R.
Charles R. "Ron" Pearson, 93 went to be with his Lord and Savior in Twin Oaks, of Palmyra, Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was the son of the late Charles C. and Elizabeth Pearson. Charles was a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the United States Army Air Force in the 23rd Fighter control squadron during WWII. He was awarded the WWII Victory Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star. After his military service, Charles worked for and retired from the Pennsylvania State Bureau of Mines. He was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge #616 F&AM in Altoona. He is survived by three sons, Dennis and his wife Jackie of Harrisburg, Bill and his wife, Sharon of Hummelstown and Terry of Harrisburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 12 noon in the HOOVER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Route 422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Those so desiring are invited to make a Memorial Contribution to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Pennsylvania. Share condolences at
