I worked with Steve many years ago in the Brentwood School District. He was a devout advocate for children and their education. Steve was always accessible as an administrator and a colleague and he seemingly worked around the clock at Brentwood in his various positions. His work ethic and his enthusiasm were unparalled. My sympathy to his family for you loss.

I want to extend my heartfelt condolence on the loss of Mr. Verba. My husband was PTA president at Elroy School in the late 60's and he was always a gentleman and willing to be of assistance. My husband passed away 14 yrs. ago and he came to pay his respects. My children always admired him.
May all the memories you have sustain you in this difficult time.
