KOSTELAC NICK
Age 100, of Greentree, passed away on April 2, 2012. Born in Kansas City, MO on February 17, 1912, he was the oldest son of John and Maudra Kostelac; beloved husband of the late Mary (Werbanic) Kostelac; father of Thomas Kostelac and Richard (Patricia) Kostelac; grandfather of Joseph (Kimberly) Kostelac and Jennifer (Jack) D'Amico; great-grandfather of Cameron and Danielle Kostelac; brother of Stanley Kostelac and the late Danial, Frank, Joe, John Jr., Mike and Steve Kostelac, Mary Milo and Rose Schafer; uncle to 43 nieces and nephews. He was a US Army veteran, serving during WWII, Pacific Theater. Nick was a 75 year member of the Local 3 Ironworkers Union. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Greentree. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

God bless you Nick !! You were one of the NICEST people I had ever met & had the opportunity in getting to know you. Thank you so much in helping me with my heritage. I wish I could have celebrated your 100th birthday with you.... I am sure you are ballroom dancing in Heaven now !! I will truly miss my conversations with you...
