My sweet, Kathy.. I have always cherished our time together at the salon. For years, I have seen you give so much to everyone you love. I always said you were my little worrier, but I knew that worry came from such a tender, generous, and loving heart. You truly loved and cared for people. Even in your darkest hour after the loss of your husband, you still would say that you shouldn’t complain, because someone somewhere was dealing with more. Completely selfless. Always. Love you, sweet Kathy. I know you are up there beside your love where you wanted to be.
Love, Stacy

My sweet cousin Kathy, so beautiful with Irish smiling blue eyes and her smile would melt a chocolate. She was always kind and nice and fun to be with. I love the memories of the good old days at Home Gardens. We Schofield girls as we called ourselves later on in life had lunches and birthdays later on as we all grew older altogether. I'll always have beautiful memories. I love her so much.

Our friend Kathy, with a smile for everyone. We first met at Vaughn Junior High, went on to Earl Wooster High School when it was built. Had so much fun: “dragging main,” which involved driving up and down Virginia Street, going thru the Frostop drive-in on W Fourth, waving to friends, and checking out the boys. Husky Haven dances at the old Southside Kindergarten building on Sinclair and Ryland Streets. Y-Teens and a trip to San Francisco. We were the first graduating class in 1964. In later years, Kathy was a part of the class reunion committee. After our 50th reunion we began having monthly Wooster Girls lunches that continued until COVID put a stop to our gatherings. She always had a smile and a kind word. Her sparkling blue eyes, her sweet laugh, and her kind friendship will never be forgotten.

Tawnie thank you for being such a loving daughter. Your ways are a true reflection of your mother.
I’ve always felt a certain closeness to Kathy as if we were family . Her sweet smile and loving ways will remain in my memories of her. We know she is resting now in the Garden with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
I see Kathy and Jess in my mind just as happy as can be together again.
My love and condolences to you and the family. My The lord hold you and comfort you now and always.

My dear Tawnie, Tommy and Jesse. Want you to know you had the most beautiful, loving mother ever, I know how sad and broken you feel right now, but remember she’s pain free and happy in Heaven with your dad and all her family and friends. Now we all have another guardian Angel watching over us all. Kathy you always told me that I was like your little sister, and I felt the same way. Love you so much my sister, and to your beautiful children I will forever be your tia.

You and Jesus were the first people I met when I came to Reno. You were my matron of honor at my wedding. All the holidays barbecues parties birthdays that we shared are fabulous memories. The bucket list trip to Maui I'm so glad that you and Jesus came on that trip. You're going to be greatly missed and thought about often. Goian bego.

Kathy, it’s so hard to believe that you were here with us one day and gone the next. You and Jess were our chosen family. Every holiday, special gathering, or even weekend dinners throughout my life included the two of you. You were my parents very best friends and I will cherish the memories we all shared forever. We miss you a lot. We hope you’re dancing and enjoying the very best Chardonnay’s. May you Rest In Peace Kathy. All of our love always.

Still seems so surreal that I will not see those sparkling blue eyes and her beautiful smile in this lifetime. I've known Kathy my entire life. She was the most kind, loving, fun spirited woman. Had a zest for life, loved her children so much. You are now in a better place with Jesus. I hope you are both enjoying yourselves again. Until we see each other again, godspeed.

Thank you Kathy for being a friend to a young 17 year old. Your kindness to me will forever be treasured. I am so blessed to have been able to work along side in the basement at 85 Kirman. Much love to your family in this time.
