Critchfield, Brooks Brooks Critchfield passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 51. Wife of Sanjay K. Jain; mother of Sophie, Harry and Izzy Critchfield-Jain; sister of Mark Henry Critchfield; daughter-in-law of Savitri Jain and the late S. Kumar Jain; sister-in-law of Neena Jain (William C. Rohs) and Monica Jain (Remy Garderet); dear friend of Gregory Mudd. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents John S. Critchfield and Harriet Jurgens Critchfield. Brooks graduated from Clayton High School, Washington University and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. She was Principal at Open Field Design, a member of the American Institute of Architects, an accredited LEED Professional associated with the US Green Building Council and a leader in the field of sustainable design. She was a board member at MICDS, a philanthropist, an avid gardener and runner who loved running in Forest Park and had completed eleven marathons. Services: A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Episcopal Church of St. Michael and St. George, Wydown at Ellenwood, Clayton on Saturday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. Private Committal.
