Pearce, David Lee 65, passed away peacefully, June 16, 2014 in the hospice unit at the Gulf Coast Veteran's Health Care System in Biloxi Mississippi. Originally from St. Louis, David was born in 1949 to Leroy and Lucille Pearce. He attended Jennings High school and North Missouri State University before enlisting in the US Army and served his country as a Military Policeman stationed in Washington, D C. Afterwards, he relocated to New Jersey where he became a Golf Professional at Essex Fells Country Club. Upon moving to Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine, Florida, David became a realtor employed by Marsh Landing Realty and Manomor Sotheby's International Realty in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. David is survived by his wife Jan Cunningham Klein Pearce; son Chris Roach, (Julie) and grandson Cooper of St. Louis Missouri; sister Sharel Wallace, (Richard) of Fredericks, Virginia, brother, Richard Pearce, (Suzie) and sister, Mary Pearce of Boyton Beach, Florida, brother, Joe Pearce, (Donna) of Ponte Vedra Beach Florida and sister, Kathy Pearce of Jacksonville Florida. Beloved nephews, nieces and stepsons include Doug, Steve, Jeff and Tim Pearce, Jamie Conroy, Laura, Aldrich, Liz Riley, Marsha Temmello and Joe, Jason and Jarod Klein. David was a lifetime, avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the University of Miami college football team. His knowledge and familiarity with all sports led to many relationships where he enjoyed play by play action by phone throughout the years with all his family members and friends. A full, military honors memorial service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Friday, September 5, at 11:00 am at 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis MO 63125, with Chaplain David N. Poland, Lt. Col., Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to; Wish For Our Heroes, P.O.
