I miss my sister, Nancy, every single day. Some times I sit and talk to her. I hope and pray she hears me and knows that she is forever in my heart. I also hope and pray that she and my husband Del are now together, they were such good friends, so dear to each other. Also, I hope and pray that my daughter Kim and my grandson Brett are with Nancy and Del. I hope and pray that one day I will be with them. All four were such wonderful, outstanding people. Love you forever, Nancy, Irene

Sisters share a special bond and I am so grateful that my sister and I had 80 years to enjoy each other, to be there for each other. Now I live with the sweet memories of all the special times we shared, the super fun we had together when our children were small. I remember all the visits back and forth and all the amazing trips we enjoyed. Those were magical times. Physically, my sister is no longer with me, but in my heart and in my mind, she will always be with me. Years ago, I wrote her an email, telling her how proud I was of her and all of her accomplishments. She phoned and thanked me with tears of joy and appreciation. I am so grateful that I shared my feelings with her. You are in my heart forever, my dear sister.

This is for you Grandma. You are missed:
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
