Preceded in death, his beloved wife (55 years) Rose Canedo Chavarria, and son Rodney "Bubba" Sanchez.

Children Linda S. Tomasini, Rodney "Bubba" Sanchez (Lisa Decker), Adrian Sanchez (Susan), Regina C. Brooks (Mark), Gabriel Chavarria (Dolores), Lorinda C. Benavides, (Jode Sanchez) 19 Grandchildren, 18 Great, and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter; and loyal lab Woody.

Dad served his Lord Jesus Christ, parishioner St. Henry's Catholic Church, officer of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree 11342; served country honorably US Navy Carrier Yorktown CVS-101959, retired 1994 Kelly AFB, and member of COPS.

A loving, gentle, selfless and simple man, who loved his family unconditionally, worked extra jobs without a complaint; 13 years he devoted to caring for his "Chava" our mother who battled Alzheimer; patience his greatest characteristics; honored his vows, a dry sense of humor, his hobby genealogy.

Our Father, our Hero, our Rock forever in our hearts…thanks Dad, for always showing us love.
