Obituary Condolences

Richard F. Adaszczyk beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2013 at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his first wife June Adaszczyk. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 23 years Kim Adaszczyk who was by his side until he left; his son, Charles J. Adaszczyk and wife Sylvia; his daughter, Connie and husband Brian Ramirez; grandchildren, Katie, Ashley, Hailey and Aubrey. He had a long career in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Once retiring from the Army he worked at Kelly A.F.B. and latter Randolph A.F.B. Richard was a member of Army Masonic Lodge #1105, the Alzafar Shrine, and many other Masonic organizations. When he was physically able, being active in masonry was his passion. He was a noble and honorable man that would do whatever he could to help someone in need, unselfish of his time and resources. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that had the opportunity to know him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00am at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with full U.S. Army Honors.
