Erik Rappolt Obituary
Erik was the owner of Build One, LLC and had been in the contracting business for the past 30 years in the seacoast area, Colorado and Florida.
He is survived by his wife Paula (Moncivaiz) of 21 years; his son Jakob; daughter Allie; mother Jane Trafton; brother Matt and wife Kara of Columbus, Ohio and their three sons, Ted, Henry and Ben; brother Bryan and wife Vanessa and their daughter Ashlyn Grace; uncle Robert Trafton and wife Marilyn (Rowe) of Titusville, Florida; in-laws Dave and Carol Jokinen of Hampton and his loving dog Bella.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering for Erik and his family will be February 21, 2018, from 5-8 p.m., at Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Rd., Newmarket, NH, 03857.
A scholarship fund has been created in Erik's memory for a Portsmouth High School student looking to continue their education in the construction trades field. Erik was one of my closests friends as teenager, especially after I moved to Downs Ave, I never saw him in a bad mood or upset, or say a bad word about anybody. Unfortunately when they moved to Colorado and I moved away we lost touch. When I got hurt 12 yrs ago Erik was doing work on my brothers house. I learned he was back in the area and he sent me a t-shirt. That is the kind of man he was, even after 30 yrs. He will be missed very much. I will miss his sunrise pictures, they always perked me up. Erik is like family to me, my deepest love and prayers to Matt. Jane and the rest of his family.

To the Rappolt family,
I was one of Erik's teachers at Greenland. I also coached him in soccer. He was such a nice person. He had a wonderful smile and was always ready to help everyone. He will be sadly missed.

Paula, Jackie's neighbor Dee here. Jackie framed the picture of our dog Pete that Erik took. I didn't know you guys long, but I just feel like Erik was good at smiles, people, and dogs and that he will be missed tremendously.
