Antonia Aversali
Mass is on Monday for resident of the Oranges, native of Italy
Antonia Aversali (nee Buono), 79, of Orange and West Orange, NJ passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Visiting will be at the Paul Ippolito - Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave, Caldwell, N.J., on Sunday, September 20, from 1 to 4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 21, at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave, West Orange, followed by the interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.

Antonia was born in Prata, Avellino, Italy, and had lived in West Orange and Orange, NJ most of her life.
She was a seamstress with the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union and a member of the Padre Pio Rosary Society, Orange.
Antonia's passions in life were cooking, hosting holidays for family, church, gardening and most of all she cherished her time spent with all her great-nieces and nephews.
Antonia was the beloved wife for 40 years of Loreto; loving mother of the late Antonia and Rosanna; dear sister of Nina Leone and her husband Salvino, Gabriella Buono and the late Angela Giordano and Salvatore Buono; sister-in-law of Costantino Giordano and Lena Buono, and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Antonia's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
