Nikolas Coltan Evans Our sweet Nikolas went to heaven on April 5, 2009, at 1:15 p.m., after suffering traumatic brain injury from an accident on 6th street in Austin. He was born in Arlington, TX on February 18, 1988. He was raised in Euless and attended Trinity High School, where he was on the cross country team. He moved to Austin to attend film school in August of 2006. He loved everything about film making, was an avid movie buff and writer. He worked as a sales person for Sprint and was really great at it. He was compassionate and giving but most of all, he had a wonderful wit. His heart was always in the right place which is why his organs were donated to save 5 lives on Monday. Memorial services will be held at the Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church. 715 E. Lamar Arlington, TX 76011 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009. Survived by his mother, Marissa Evans; father, Christopher Evans; step-mother, Laura Evans; brother and best friend, Ryan Evans; grandparents, Kay and Dale Glenn and Candy and Gene Engels; many cousins, aunts, uncles and some of the best friends anyone could ask for. The family would like to thank those friends who held vigil with us every hour of every day. They know who they are.
