Zane Ray Brisson, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, entered the gates of heaven on Friday, December 14th, at age 50. He is survived by the love of his life, Lacey Rollins Brisson. He also leaves behind his mother, Wilma Cooper Brisson of Kernersville, NC; his sister, Angie Ryder (Pete) of Roanoke, VA; his mother-in -law, Carter Ann Rollins of New Bern, NC; his father-in-law, Skip Rollins of New Bern, NC; his brother-in-law, Pete Rollins (April) of New Bern, NC and many aunts, uncles ,cousins and close friends. He is predeceased by his father, Zane Ray Brisson, Sr. Zane was born June 13, 1968 in Pinehurst, NC and grew up in Southern Pines, NC. A graduate of Pinecrest High School and North Carolina State University while an active member of Lambda Chi Fraternity. He was employed with BB&T for over 20 years. Zane was well loved by his many friends and a most respected community partner.  He served on a number of boards and was very involved in many organizations like Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Marine Advisory Board, Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, Stranahan House (Member) and Club 211 Broward (Lifetime Member).  His generous spirit made him a stand out as he was known to always be available if someone needed a helping hand. A kind soul, Zane will be remembered for his electric smile and his sense of humor. He was an avid boater, loved traveling with his wife and friends, a devout NC State Wolfpack Fan, and a friend to all. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in 2019.
