Forty years ago Gray Rowell Henry (b.1926) moved to Fort Lauderdale from her native Virginia, where she'd enjoyed a professional career as an officer at the Bank of Virginia, to marry Maurice K. Henry, a transplanted Kentuckian entrepreneur. Together they traveled the world. An accomplished artist, a Master bridge player, she provided a refuge in Florida for her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her husband and two sisters, she was dearly loved by her friends and family. We are especially grateful to her exceptional caretakers. Donations can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.

So sorry to hear of Gray’s passing. Many good memories of times with her and with Maurice. In recent years, we enjoyed sharing lunches together and I referred to her as a very “Spunky Lady”. A most talented and gracious woman who will be sorely missed.

John and I are saddened about Gray’s passing. We both always enjoyed Gray so much. We are so thankful she came into Maurice’s life and gave Maurice and our family many enjoyable years.
