Anthony DiRocco Obituary

Anthony J. DiRocco, (1943-2018) age 74, husband of Sally M. (Doherty) DiRocco died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Cambridge, August 1, 1943 a son of the late Peter and Margaret (Miola) DiRocco and lived in Billerica for 26 years before moving to Taunton in 1999. Mr. DiRocco served in the US Air Force was a Technical Supervisor for Polaroid Corp. for 32 years, where he held several patents and was active with Boy Scout Troop 55 in Billerica. Besides his wife he is survi- ved by one son, Anthony J. DiRocco II and his wife Stephanie of Burlington; two daughters, Sharon LaRue and her husband Keith of Magnolia, TX and Michele Hamilton and her husband James of Billerica; one brother, John DiRocco and his wife Marie of Princeton, NJ as well as seven grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 12 at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. It being his wish there will be no Visiting Hours. Private burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge will be held at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions may be made to Dana - Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
