AGE: 86 • Millville

James E. Stotler Jr., 86, of Millville, died on Friday at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. Born in Renton, Pennsylvania, he has lived in the Millville area for over 60 years.

Jim graduated from Renton High School and was the Valedictorian for the class of 1945. He then joined the United States Navy and served during World War II, and receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1948. Jim was a master carpenter, and was a partner in J&J Home Improvements for over 30 years. He always enjoyed making and building toys for his grandchildren. Jim also enjoyed gardening, bowling, fishing and crabbing. During the holidays, Jim would play "Santa" at the Spring Oak Assisted Living in Vineland, and he also served as a volunteer grandparent at Wood School in Millville. He was very active at the Rocking R Horse Ranch. Jim was a member of the Millville Elks Lodge #580, the VFW in Coco Beach, Florida, and the American Legion Nabb-Leslie Post #82 of Millville.

Jim is survived by: children; Kenneth Stotler, Gayle Nann, Gladis McGraw, Jerry Rhubart, James "Jim" Rhubart, Dawn Watkins and Joyce Rhubart. 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson; brother, Charles Stotler and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 40 years, Mary Rhubart Stotler, and a son, John Rhubart.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9am until 11am. There will be an Elks Service at 9:15am. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Jim's name to a .
