Groton - Robert Francis "Bobby" Grem, 56, of Groton, passed away suddenly Feb. 20, 2021, and tragically from a heart attack while removing snow. Bobby was born April 7, 1964, in Hartford, to Francis R. Grem and the late Marianne (Schoeller) Grem.

He was rambunctious as a teenager and as a young adult. Bobby worked various odd jobs as a jack-of-all trades, until he found work as a mechanic for the railroad in Connecticut before starting his own home repair business. He later worked at Johnsons Hardware for many years which he enjoyed greatly. When it was time for fun and relaxation, Bobby liked to go fishing - a passion he learned from his father and shared with his son.

Bobby will always be loved and forever missed by his son Christopher; his father Frank; his former wife and friend Yvette; sisters, Ursula and Susan; brother-in-law James; and nephews, Douglas and Tyler.
