Debra Ann Zajaczkowski

Debra Ann Zajaczkowski, 57, of Scranton, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at home. Her companion was Michael Woytanif of Scranton.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Floyd and Claire (Polaski) Zajaczkowski of Scranton. Debra graduated from North Pocono High School in 1978. She worked as a manager at Paradise Stream for over 20 years and then as a nurse's aide at Mountain Rest Nursing Home in Scranton. Debra was a member of the Church of St. Catherine of Siena in Moscow.

As a talented artist, Debra loved to paint and listen to music. She was also an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Floyd III, of Spring Brook Twp., Nancy Snead and her husband, Jonathan, of Dickson City; and Lisa Sinclar and her husband, John, of Scranton; her nieces and nephews, Brandon, Tarah, Samantha, Nicole, John III, Mary, Lauren, Zoe and Emma; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John P. Zajaczkowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Catherine of Siena, 220 Church St., Moscow, to be celebrated by the Rev. Robert J. Simon. Interment with rite of committal will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow.

A viewing will be held at the church Tuesday from 9:30 until the time of the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the , 712 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
