Frances "Wreski" Wrzeszewski Obituary
Frances "Wreski" Wrzeszewski, 97, of Newfoundland, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart inpatient unit in Dunmore. She was the wife of the late Stanley Wrzeszewski, who died in 1998; the couple was married for 56 years.

Born in Sterling, she was the daughter of the late George and Iva (Frick) Fitz. Frances graduated from Sterling High School in 1938 and was a member of the Gouldsboro United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Frances was fiercely independent and very hard working. Never being one to judge, she kept an open mind and afforded everyone the benefit of the doubt, no matter the situation. She was a voracious reader who enjoyed dining out, visiting with friends, and reminiscing about her youth. Most importantly, she loved making memories with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her children, Judy Harbour, of Vinita, Okla.; Linda Clark and husband, James, of Newark, Del.; Debby Kusters and husband, Ted, of Wilmington, Del.; Ron "Wreski" Wrzeszewski and wife, Denise, of Gouldsboro; and Henry Wrzeszewski and wife, Patti, of Gouldsboro; her grandchildren, Tammy Long, Jamie Clark, Chrissy McNamara, Daniel Kusters, Michael Kusters, Rebecca Burmeff, Elizabeth Luisi, Tanya Frable and Melissa Morgan; 15 great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Shirley Carr, of Gouldsboro.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Franklin Fitz; and her great-grandson, Lukas Kusters.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 14, at 11:30 a.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services LLC, 3 First St. in Spring Brook Twp. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp.

Viewing will be held Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to https://www.livelikelukas.org/, a charity honoring the memory of her great-grandson. To share your fondest memories of Frances, please visit the funeral homes' website or Facebook page.
