Roy William Fore, Sr.

Roy William Fore, Sr., age 81, entered eternal life on June 28, 2013. His twin brother, Troy Fore followed him 21 hours later.

Visitation will be at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. followed by the services at 2:00 p.m. with Reverends Donald Lemmon and Robby Poole officiating. The burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.

Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Dunn Fore; his children, Sherry Fore, Kathryn Fore Rodden and husband, Gary, and Roy Fore, Jr. and wife, Kimberley; grandchildren, Angie, Rhiannon, Alaina, Jenna, Tony, Kristopher, Tracie, Haleigh, Jasmine, Dylan and Luke as well as eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Alma Bauman (Harold), Mary Ann Fore, Martha Sue Shell (David) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his precious grandson, Spencer Fore; his parents, Robert and Sally Douglas Fore and his brother, Ralph Fore.

Roy was a member of Longview Baptist Church, Deville. He never met a stranger and was well known for his sense of humor. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He received his Master of Science Degree from University of Oklahoma and his undergraduate degree from Northeast Louisiana State University. He retired after thirty years of service with the Louisiana State Department of Health where he worked as the Region VI Health Inspector Supervisor.

The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice, Grace Home, Dr. Jose Garcia, Dr. Ernesto Garcia and Dr. Kelly Letsinger. Special thanks to Diana Gremillion, RN and Rhonda Cole.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Lee Fore, Matt Salley, Tony Chicola, Kristopher West, Cory Van Mol and Tomas Zubiate.
