Sheeran, Thomas J. Jr. TROY Thomas J . Sheeran Jr. P.E., 57, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his residence. Born in Troy, he was the son of Madelyn Ciarlone Sheeran and the late Thomas J. Sheeran Sr. Tom was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College, Ohio State University and was employed by New York State Dept. of Transportation, Design Division, as a professional engineer prior to his retirement. He was formerly employed by the City of Troy as a surveyor, was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and was an avid fan and supporter of Ohio State Football. Survivors include his mother, Madelyn Sheeran of Wynantskill.; his siblings, Linda (Fain) Loury of Poestenkill, Anthony R. Sheeran of Niskayuna, John (Linda) Sheeran of Ballston Spa and Joann (Joseph) Fletcher of New Hampshire. Also survived by nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's of Padua Shrine Church, 28 State St., Troy. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the John H. Clinton Funeral Home, Washington Park and Third St.,Troy from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Church, 28 State St, Troy N.Y. 12180.
