Harry Ernest McGee Jr.

Harry E. McGee Jr., 74, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 25, 2021. Harry was born July 15, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Norma (St. Clair) McGee Sr. He attended Macomber High School and at age 17, enlisted in the United States Navy. Harry went on to work 30 years in production with Chrysler Manufacturing, retiring in 1997. A lifelong sports fan, Harry enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and Chicago Cubs. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, avid fisherman and "loved to play the odds". His true love was watching his grandchildren play sports. Harry is survived by his daughters, Comfort McGee, Melissa McGee, and Heidi (Robert) Ramsey; grandchildren, Delanie Mary Notheis and Lucas Harry Ramsey; brothers, Michael (Joylyn) McGee and Mark (Becky) McGee; sister-in-law, Karen McGee; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gilbert McGee; and Mary McGee.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. State mandated mask wearing and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
