MANCHESTER - Claude Goulet, of Manchester died peacefully at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester on Thursday, April 10, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.He was born in Montreal, Canada on March 7, 1923, and was the son of Joseph and Emma (Charbonneau) Goulet.Claude was raised and educated in Montreal. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, bringing him to the United States and making him a longtime resident of Manchester. Throughout his life, Claude continued to stay active and support veteran affairs.He loved spending time with his family and friends. Claude was an excellent husband and father, his family was paramount to him. He was a devote Catholic and was passionate about opera.He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Colette (Paquin) Goulet and his son, Paul Goulet both of Manchester. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.All services are private.
