MANCHESTER - Terry S. Alexandris, 67, died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

Mr. Alexandris was born on May 27, 1945, in Manchester, the son of the late Charles D. and Coula (Frangedakis) Alexandris. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969. Following his discharge he served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Prior to his retirement in 2001, Mr. Alexandris was employed as a computer technician and worked for various companies in the area, with his most recent being NYNEX.

Mr. Alexandris enjoyed working on his computer along with staying up to date and taking interest in political issues.

Members of his family include his wife of 42 years, Juanita (Reyes) Alexandris, of Manchester; one son, Matthew C. Alexandris, also of Manchester; one sister, Marina Sintros and her husband, Christopher, of Pelham; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.


services: Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., corner of Union Street in Manchester. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester.
