Sharon and I joined the woman's club of Bethesda about the same time twenty years ago. I will always remember her for her eagerness to help in any way she good for the good of the club including being president. She loved to travel and would be first to volunteer when a trip was planned. We experienced our first (and only ) cruise together and enjoyed discussing the ups and does of that. We shared a love of reading and playing bridge as well. Sharon will be missed by all her friends at the club.

I am so sad that I was unable to find and get in touch with Sharon before she died.
We worked together at the Washington Hospital Center and she got me into Women's Club of Bethesda. We spent many days together over the years.
I have many fond memories of trips and many times at her home with Bob and Scott.
I was out of the area for several years and wanted to reconnect after my return. But it was not meant to be.
My thoughts are with the family.
She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her.

I was hoping Sharon would get better, so it was a shock to hear that she was gone.I will always remember our times in the Woman's Club of Bethesda and our Book Club, especially our lunches out. She will be sorely missed.

Sharon will be missed by so many of her fellow club members at the GFWC Women's Club of Bethesda and throughout the State. My mother, Katherine Mizell, always loved going to meetings and conventions with Sharon. They adored each other and found so much common ground when it came to family, friends, and their devotion to volunteer work. I take great comfort that they are both with their Savior and planning some wonderful club events!! I always loved my times with Sharon, especially over the last several years doing a little Christmas Shopping for her for her friends in Leisure World. She was an inspiring example of a woman with such a positive and loving spirit! She adored her family and I will always think of her when recalling wonderful good ole' days with the lovely ladies of the Bethesda Club!! God Bless Sharon and her Family!

To Sharon's Family,

I met your Mother when I first joined the Bethesda Woman's Club. She was so gracious to me and always made me feel very welcomed. I particularly enjoyed our Book club meetings with her and valued her thoughts and insights. She will be sorely missed.

My dear friend, Sharon, I will miss you very much. I want to add that you had been a long-time member of the DAR, Margaret Whetten Chapter, and was a proud docent at the DAR Constitution Hall in DC for many years. I will miss my sister in DAR and the Woman's Club of Bethesda. Love and Peace, May
