Priest of the Archdiocese of Washington; son of the late Josephine and Francis Bober, Sr.; brother of Robert (Alberta) Bober of Cheshire, MA; uncle of Jackie Kliner; great-uncle of Kyle, Brooke, and Ava Kliner. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose, 3107 63rd Avenue, Cheverly, MD, on Thursday, February 13, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Dear Father Frank, you were one of the significant priestly leadership figures of my youth. You officiated at our wedding, you baptized our child. You were a friend as well. I´m glad I was there to see you off when you passed.

Father Bober was our parish priest at St. Bernadette's and my family never forgot him - he officiated at my wedding and kept in touch with us for many years. He was quietly effective and extraordinary. Back in the early 1970s my father wrote a tribute to him which is just as fitting today - "For the wonderful priest that he is, may God bless Father Bober." I can only add my sincere condolences to his family.

Father Frank used to tell me to go placidly amid the noise and haste, and to remember what peace there may be in silence. Plus, he said
to try to be on good terms with everyone.
