Kathryn M. Huppman
Kathryn M. (Leiphart) Huppman, 74, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, York. She was the wife of Donald M. Huppman for 52 years.
Mrs. Huppman was born in York on August 6, 1942, daughter of the late William and Miriam (Hunt) Leiphart.
She was employed by Pleasant Acres starting as a Nursing Aide, she went to the Business Office and later to the Nursing Service Office from which she retired after more than 20 years of service.
In addition to her husband, survivors include, two sons, Craig A. and Barry A. Huppman both of York; two step sons, Donald M. Huppman, Jr. of Manchester and Steven Huppman of York; two brothers, Robert Leiphart of Red Lion and John Leiphart of Manchester; and a sister, Dorothy Klingaman of Seven Valleys. She was preceded in death by several siblings.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
