Knowing Shirley and Lonnie is one of the greatest blessings of my life. I first met her when I was 7 years old sitting behind her and her husband at the PSU football games. Over the years she and Lonnie watched me grow up, attend college, and get married. They became family. I will always cherish the memories and times we spent together. Rest well, Shirley. You will be missed.

I feel so fortunate to have know both Lonnie and Shirley and to have spent some of the best times of my life with them during those magical moments on PSU football Saturdays! So fitting that I found out about her passing while tailgating at the PSU v. Maryland game yesterday. I will miss seeing her on those crisp fall Saturdays, but will always cherish the memories that her and Lonnie were such a big part of.

Jeffery and Michael,

Randi and I send our sincere condolences on the death of your Mother Shirley. You can rest assured knowing she has been called home to be with your Father Lonnie. Most assuredly she will be with with the angels in heaven for the many acts of kindness and compassion she performed for others while on earth. She leaves a wonderful legacy of service to mankind. We are out of town and not certain whether we will return in time for the services but our thoughts are with you.
Mike and Randi Horn
