May 5, 1931 - December 23, 2017
Mabel M. Snyder passed away at home with her family by her side on December 23, 2017 at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late Alvin B. Snyder, they shared 54 years of marriage. Mabel was born on May 5, 1931 in Seven Valleys to the late Martin L. and Jennie Esther (Flickinger) Albright. Mabel is survived by three sons, Alvin Snyder, wife, Evelyn of S.C., James Snyder, partner, Darlene of Wellsville, Fred Snyder, wife, Sherry of East Berlin; four daughters, Darlene Dunham, husband, Ronald (Gary) of Lewisberry, Jennie Heiner, husband, Robert, Ida Fleming, husband, Edwin, both of Dover, and Debra Pressel of Dillsburg; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. Mabel was preceded in death by three grandchildren. Mabel is survived by brother, Henry Albright; and sister, Eleanor Kauffman. Mabel enjoyed baking and cooking with her large family, playing bingo and the organ along with crocheting and working outside with her beautiful flowers. Mabel especially loved hanging out with her family and playing with her grand dogs and grand kittens!
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). A viewing will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.
