Bonnie L. (Martin) Cuppett-Weigard, 71, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Manor Care South.
Ms. Cuppett-Weigard was born in York on November 26, 1946, daughter of the late James and Lucy (Kinard) Martin Jr.
Bonnie was a member of Dover Bethany Church, Youth Ministries and was director of New Hope Ministries for four years. She was an advocate for MADD, participated in Meals on Wheels and was voted "Woman of Pennsylvania" in 1989.
She refereed girls field hockey for 30 years, volleyball and basketball.
Survivors include two children, Kelly L. Harrold and her husband, Mark and Caleb J. Cuppett, all of York; five grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Wilson of FL; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Martin III.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). There will be a visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater York, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or to the S.P.C.A., 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.

Many happy memories of time spent with Bonnie...from family reunions at the farm to time at lucky 7 camp..May your memories always be in your heart..she was a great person ..thoughts and prayers to family.
