We are saddened to hear of Pat's passing. Although we crossed paths only sporadically after the Shambers moved from Langley, we remember Pat as a quiet man of humour... always a gentleman. It was always a pleasure to fly with him. Our condolences to Janice & family.

Very sad to hear that Pat has left us. Many of us in the Senior Men's League at Chilliwack Golf Club enjoyed many great times with Pat. He golfed well and volunteered his time to the Senior Men's executive. He was the serving Past President when he passed away. The flag at the club flew at half-mast last evening and all day today. He was in all of our conversations today during the Thursday Senior Men's League play. Judging from the comments you can be certain that Pat is remembered as a terrific golf buddy and as a generous man with bountiful kindness and integrity.

I was indeed fortunate to have had Pat as a long time neighbour and friend. He was truly one of the good souls of this earth. Always there to help and always with the same quiet demeanour. A gentleman in the true sense of the word. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and many friends.
