Montano, Joseph E.
Joseph E. Montano, age 89, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, January 28, 2016. Born in Gallup, NM on December 10, 1926, he proudly served as a Pharmacy Mate in the US Navy and retired from a rich career as an Administrative Superintendent with the City of Albuquerque.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sophie; his children, Edward Montano and wife Gerri, Pat Montano and partner Nancy and Dianne Montano; eight grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; and sister Lillian Ramirez. He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
