Doyle, Bernetta (Bunny)
In Memory of Bernetta (Bunny) Doyle. Bunny passed peacefully on Tuesday June 21. Bunny was born June 23, 1925 to Stuart and Etna McDaniel in West Virginia.
Her memorial service has been scheduled for Friday, July 8, 2016 at 9:00 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette in Albuquerque. Her interment will be in West Virginia.
Bunny was a retired neuro nurse with St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a District PTA President in the 70's in Farmington and active for many years. Bunny founded a non-profit in her retirement community called Pennies for People which ran for over 23 years. The donated money helped many senior citizens and residents in paying rent and utilities when they were low on money or had a lay off from work. She was very active in her co-op community and contributed so much. Bunny also helped many of her neighbors with breast cancer, lung cancer etc.
Bunny was preceded in death by her husband Richard Doyle and daughter Donna Clark-Cheek.
She is survived by son Brian Doyle, his wife Tanya; daughter Bundee Doyle; granddaughters Shannon Clark, Danielle Doyle, Elspeth Clinton and Kara Williams; son-in-law Randy Cheek. Bunny was a public servant and activist who made a difference every day.
She will truly be missed.
