Allen Stecker
Allen Stecker, age 97, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. Allen's perseverance and determination enabled him to live on his own until the last few weeks of his life. He was born in Clovis, NM on December 13, 1919 to Anthony and Fern (Allen) Stecker. He served as a Captain in the Air Force in WWII. After honorable discharge, he received an MBA from Stanford University and worked as a Certified Public Accountant in Albuquerque for over 30 years.
Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn (Mayfield) Stecker. He is survived by his son, David (Marlene) Stecker; daughters, Karen Stecker and Linda (Charles) Carlson; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm at FRENCH - Wyoming. Services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice De La Luz or Hoffmantown Church.
