I am still in shock about this huge loss. Aster?? Such a beautiful soul !. Aster was the kindest, helpful and sincere friend anyone would want to have in their life! I worked with Aster at Presbyterian hospital ,on the Short term Care Unit. Aster was loving and caring to her patients. She made them laugh so hard that they forgot their pain. As a friend, Aster was there for me during my bad days, always comforting and at the same time strengthening me through that period of my life. Her food! OMG! THE BEST curry chicken I have ever eaten! the rice too?
Aster always told me she married the best man on earth and was blessed with 3 well mannered good looking boys. She is right. May God Comfort you Muhammed , Burhan, Imaran and Rhehan. I love you. Aster my friend, only God knows why He took you so soon. May you rest in perfect peace. Good night my friend!. Sleep well until we meet again.

To the Khan family, I have had the honor and privilege of knowing Aster and her family for many years, I met Mohammad her husband in the 90's and actually met and worked with Mohammad, we very quickly became good friends, As I got older I eventually married and my wife also got to know the Khan family, we were invited many times to their home for dinner and enjoyed Asther's cooking, Asther was one of the nicest and most generous person I have ever known and she will be missed by all. Rest in peace my dear friend, you will never be forgotten.
