My sincere condolences to Ms Tafoyas family. I knew Irene as a Lovelace/ABQ Healthpartners patient for many years. (I just saw this obituary) She always had a smile on her face and I loved the stories she used to tell me about growing up. May her soul rest in peace, I will keep her and her family in my prayers.
Sincerely
Marcia G.

My grandma, a special person in my life who loved me whole heartedly and unconditionally. I will miss our visits, sharing coffee and wonderful stories of her growing up in Mora. I will miss snuggling in the morning after staying the night. My grandparents home was my second home, where I ran away to as a child and an adult. I sometimes even took my two boys and my husband with me. My favorite memories with grandma and grandpa were camping and fishing all over New Mexico. I was fortunate enough to have my grandma for 43 years, I will miss her terribly.
