Herring, Pauline A.
Pauline A. Herring, age 91, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was born July 16, 1925 to Jesse and Nellie Betts in Silver City, NM.
She is survived by her children: John Herring (Janet) of Angel Fire, NM, Cindy Henrich (Craig) of Boerne, TX, and Amy Herring of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Pauline grew up with six siblings on a farm; after finishing high school she worked for the FBI during World War II. She met her husband in Silver City. When her husband retired, they traveled the around the United States for a year. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening; volunteered at her church. But her greatest accomplishment was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountainside Church of Christ, 12300 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. To view information or leave a condolence, please visit
