Oligher, Raymond C.
During the morning of December 24, 2015, the joy of our lives, Raymond Oligher passed into eternal life. He was the most loving, sincere, kind, dedicated, gentle, humorous person ever to grace this earth. He was loved by his children, Ray and Barbara, and his three "step-children"
He was born and raised in Pennsylvania â€" served in the US Army in Europe towards the end of WWII (1943-1949). His expertise was in the area of fishery biology â€" especially the fish ladders on those major rivers. His official title was "Chief, Fish and Wildlife Section". He retired from the Corps on 1980. During his employment years with the Corps, he was active in several professional groups relative to his position as a fishery biologist.
His family life was centered around his children â€" fishing, 4-H, rifle club, church youth groups, and most other activities that young people find to do.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loy and Margaret Oligher; his older brother, Howard and wife, Fran; and his first wife, Erica.
